August News

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Happy Birthday to William House Nursery LTD

We opened on August 20th and will be starting our 30th year. We will be celebrating with the children by having a party in nursery.

Summer Fayre – July Thursday 11th 4.30pm

Money raised from our summer Fayre was £234.42 many thanks for all your kind support.

The value raised from the Fayre always benefits the children. This time it has gone towards changing the environment for the baby unit and will all be ready for September.

Photograph Day October 3rd Thursday 8am to 5pm

All are welcome. Younger or older siblings even if they go to school as they make lovely gifts. Dare I say. Christmas.

Parent meeting – Thursday 19th September at 5.00pm in Nursery Hall – ( Letters and Sounds )

All parents are invited for children aged 3 – 4 years that start school in September 2020.

The parent meeting will give information about their child’s next steps regarding Letters and sounds. How phonics are introduced and importantly how we can encourage the joy and skills for pre reading and writing. It is very important that parents are involved to support their child’s learning. Gillian Wanless – Deputy Manager and teacher will talk parents through the different stages. All very welcome.

Bank Holiday Monday 26th August 2019– Nursery will be closed.

Nursery Leavers Best Wishes – It is that time of the year when our children in the foundation stage class are leaving to go to school. We would like to wish all the children and their families all the very best for the future. The children have had an excellent foundation. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents for your support. Please keep in touch and let us know how your children have settled, it is always lovely to hear how well your children are getting on. The children practiced really hard for their leaver’s concert which celebrated their Journey through nursery.

Kind Regards to all Happy Holidays
