Statement of intent
At William House Nursery we are committed to the inclusion of all children. All children have the right to be cared for and educated to develop to their full potential. We provide a positive and welcoming environment where children are supported according to their individual needs. We work hard to ensure no children are discriminated against or put at a disadvantage as a consequence of their needs. We believe that all children have a right to experience and develop alongside their peers. Each child’s needs are unique, therefore any attempt to categorise children is inappropriate.
William House Nursery is fully committed to provide care and support to children with individual needs and their families. We recognise that positive early intervention leads to the development of a good self- image and to strong foundations for future learning.
Equality opportunity policy
William House Nursery promotes equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice for all children and works in accordance with key legislation. We welcome respect and value every child and family treating everyone as an individual regardless gender age race, belief / religion, marriage / civil partnership, sexual orientation, gender reassignment or individual needs.
