William House Nursery has launched a brand new Web Site which has been developed to enhance our working with parents and the wider community.
It has twelve headings for your information to read, including further drops on some of the points.
You will enjoy the photograph’s of which will be updated regularly. Keep looking.
We will be communicating with you via our new newsletter and you will be able to forward plan your own family time by going onto the calendar again and again.

You will be pleased to see the children have a lovely new Sand and Water Tray to enjoy with fresh water play equipment. Play mats have also been purchased. Thank you again for your kindness in supporting.
Parents with children who are wanting to start potty training please speak with your child’s key nursery nurse. And we will continue to do what you do at home in nursery.
Many of our children have moved to their new area within nursery and are settling very well, also we have had some lovely feedback from parents. Children who have gone to big school their parents are also saying their children have settled but still like nursery. They are all very special to us.
Children born between 1st September 2014 and 31st August 2015 are eligible to start school in Reception in September 2019. The easiest way to apply is completing the online application form. If you do not have access to the internet, then an application form can be obtained from the School Admissions Team.

Free entitlement funding for two year olds Some two year olds may be eligible for 2 year olds free early childcare and education funding for 15 hours a week term time only (38 weeks) The funding is given to children the term after their second birthday and will continue until your child accesses 3 year olds education place. Free three and four year olds early years education place 15 hours All three olds are eligible for 3 year olds free early education place for 15 hours a week term time only (38 weeks).The funding is given to children the term after their third birthday and will continue until your child enters your chosen primary school. Parent meeting – Letters and Sounds – Thursday 27th September at 5.00pm in nursery hall
Parents are invited to an information meeting for children aged 3 – 4 years that will start school in September 2018. The parent meeting will give parents information regarding their child’s next steps regarding Letters and sounds. How phonics are introduced and importantly how we can encourage the joy and skills for pre reading and writing. It is very important that parents are able to get involved to support their child’s learning. Gillian Wanless – Deputy Manager and teacher will talk parents through the different stages.
