Parents Questionnaire 2010

We are committed to maintaining our high standards at all times. Our principles of fairness, honesty and being open enable us to work together with parents.
Parents / Guardians are asked anually to complete and return back to nursery a questionnaire. Below are some examples of questions and answers.

WHAT IS THE MAIN REASON FOR CHOOSING WILLIAM HOUSE NURSERY?

Most welcoming / friendly nursery we visited.

ARE THERE ANY AREAS THAT YOU FEEL WILLIAM HOUSE NURSERY DOES PARTICULARLY WELL?

Very warm and caring environment, parents always made to feel welcome.

Accommodating extra hours at short notice. Encouraging the children's development at every stage.

Considerate towards the needs of the child and the parents.

The quality of advice and support provided. A 'homely' environment. Friendly and approachable staff. Excellent standards of education, care and hygiene.

For me, its the GENUINE care that all of the staff have for the children. More recently, the flexible and accommodating attitude that the staff (particularly Joanne whom I have dealt with) have had regarding my changing childcare requirements.

The nursery provides a cozy, comfortable and homely environment for the children and ***** is always happy to come to nursery which is very reassuring for me as a parent. Auntie Carly is a particular favourite for ***** and obviously does a fabulous job!

My daughter loves coming to the nursery. She's constantly learning and developing and the nursery has a positive input / contribution to it.
Clean homely environment. Friendly staff- they really try to help ****** out in the morning if she's a bit upset. Emily and Carly are lovely!

I find it ideal that we can drop off both our children at one place and ******** is looked after in the Baby Unit and **** is taken to school, so that I can go to work. It certainly makes my day easier. Also nursery has a good variety of everything- food, trips, etc.

The staff are very approachable especially Auntie Carly who *** always looks forward to seeing and talks about frequently. The information given to parents is very good and the hygiene and cleanliness of the nursery is a very high standard.

Professionalism and friendly attitude of staff- always feel confident my baby will receive the best care.

Flexibility is the best thing. I can phone at the beginning of the week for an extra day and know you will do your very best to accomodate.

A lovely homely atmosphere. Kids view- 1) Great range of activities / trips in holidays. 2) Good friends there. 3) Aunties very caring.

The extra facilities that are provided ie- French, Music, Horse Riding, Musical Theatre and organised trips for the Comet Club during holiday periods.

Looking after **** from a very early age. She has obtained a bond and trust with all the staff which is such a comfort as a parent.

The activities / day trips are educational, interesting and fun.

I like the way they treat my son as one of their own and not just a number. ***** has always felt wanted and cared for at the nursery.

I find them to be reliable and as flexible as possible.

I am always kept informed of Comet Club holiday arrangements via Joanne always well in advance so that arrangements can be made.

Staff friendly, approachable and enthusiastic.

I feel that William House Nursery does very well in all areas of the education of my child.

Difficult to pin point one particular area, but given the recent hot weather, Benjamin has demonstrated a good understanding of using sun cream and why, so this shows that the children are explained why they need to do things. Also the support and flexibility given to parents when needed.

The 'Aunties' are very approachable and both boys really enjoy their company.

The development records maintained for each of the children are excellent.

Staff- how friendly they are. Management- run nursery very well. Love the 'home from home' feel.

The teaching and just the general contact with the children is fantastic.

The foundation stage is superb and has enabled **** to progress and learn so much and I feel the staff prepare them for going to school to an outstanding level.

Friendly, approachable staff.

The staff couldn't be nicer, always friendly and helpful. Also the help my boys have got has and will help in their future.

It is a fun, friendly nursery but the childrens education needs are met appropriately.

Continue to provide the high standard of care in place. William House is somewhere I have recommended for years and will always do so. Thanks for looking after my 2 children over the years so well!

I am sadly leaving the nursery as my youngest goes to school in Sept 09. I will miss the girls and ****** will miss everyone and is not keen to leave.

Thank you for the last 9 years of outstanding childcare that will be remembered for ever.
