Comet Club

William House Nursery offers a before and after school and holiday club for children aged 5 – 11 years. Our "Comet Club" programme during term time and school holidays provides a fun and stimulating timetable enabling school children to enjoy creative, imaginative activities in a relaxed and homely environment.

Activities are carefully planned to meet the needs of the age group, by my qualified and experienced team.

For morning drop-off (nursery to school) all children must be in nursery before 8.30 a.m. leaving plenty of time to arrive at school.

For afternoon pick-up (school to nursery), the children are picked up from school by a familiar member of staff in our own people carriers. Tea is on arrival followed by activities. There is a walled garden with a full safety floor for outdoor play with age appropriate equipment.

Childcare, transport and tea are inclusive during term time.

Each holiday a timetable of activities is planned. Details of activities are given nearer the time. Outdoor activities may have an extra charge.

Extra-curricular activities are open to children in the Comet Club. Full or part time sessions can be accommodated.

A parent or guardian is expected to provide an appropriate packed lunch for their child when they participate in a trip.

Small groups of children enjoy many field trips, and William House Nursery has three people carriers to facilitate this.

This transport is also used to drop off and pick up the children to and from school. Seat belts and child safety seats are in place, and at all times the children are accompanied by a member of the nursery team.

On occasion, the children are also taken by coach, train or even leg power for fun activity days out during the school holidays.
